People - Research Description:

I am a PhD student in physics whose primary project is under Prof. Arias studying density functional theory. Additionally, I also work with Prof. Holmes to study gendered behavior in introductory physics labs. My interests include science and feminism, both broadly and separately but I am especially engrossed in the intersection between the two. Outside of academic research I am involved in Graduate Women in Science, an organization promoting gender equity in STEM at Cornell along with Expanding Your Horizons, a massive one day conference aimed to get middle-school girls interested in STEM.
